  • What Is the Gospel?

The gospel is not a program for self-improvement or a list of religious duties. It is an announcement: news about something God has already accomplished on behalf of sinners.

Scripture is plain that all of us have fallen short of God’s holy standard. Sin separates us from the God who made us, and no amount of good behavior can undo that separation.

Into that need, God sent His Son. The Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross bearing the judgment our sin deserved, was buried, and rose again on the third day, alive forevermore.

This good news calls for a response: not religious effort, but repentance toward God and simple trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Who Is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is not merely a wise teacher or a moral example to imitate. Scripture presents Him as the eternal Son of God who took on true humanity while remaining fully God.

He lived a sinless life, taught with authority, performed works only God could do, and willingly went to the cross to bear the penalty for sin. On the third day He rose bodily from the grave, and He is alive today.

To know who Jesus is, is to be confronted with the most important question any person will ever face.
