We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. In its original writings, it is true, trustworthy, and authoritative. The Scriptures are God’s written revelation to mankind and are the final authority for doctrine, faith, life, and conduct.

We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. He is eternal, holy, unchanging, and perfect in all His ways.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin and sinless in life. He died on the cross as the substitute for sinners, was buried, rose bodily, and ascended to the Father’s right hand. He is the only Savior and our Great High Priest.

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, seals, and empowers every true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through His ministry, believers are enabled to live lives that honor God.

We believe man was created in the image of God. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and all mankind became sinners by nature and by practice. Sin is any failure to conform to the will and holiness of God. Apart from God’s salvation in Christ, mankind is spiritually dead and under judgment.

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by good works, religious effort, or human merit. Salvation is the gift of God, made possible through the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. All who repent and trust in Him are saved and eternally secure.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church began on the day of Pentecost, and Christ is its Head. The local assembly is a gathering of believers who meet together for worship, teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer, and gospel witness. We believe the Lord has entrusted spiritual oversight to elders and practical service to deacons, according to the pattern given in the New Testament.

We believe baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the two ordinances given by the Lord Jesus Christ to the Church. Baptism is for believers and is an outward testimony of identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial remembrance of Christ’s death until He comes. It is a time of worship, thanksgiving, and proclamation of the Lord’s finished work.

We believe every believer is called to follow the Lord Jesus Christ in holiness, obedience, worship, service, and witness. The Christian life should be lived in dependence on the Holy Spirit and in submission to the Word of God. Believers are called to use their gifts for the building up of the body of Christ and for the spread of the gospel.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ has commissioned His Church to proclaim the gospel to all people and make disciples of all nations. Gospel outreach, Bible teaching, and faithful witness are essential ministries of the Church.

We believe in the personal and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church. We believe the Church will be raptured, followed by the Great Tribulation, and then Christ will return to the earth to establish His Millennial Kingdom. We also believe in the final judgment of the unsaved and the eternal blessing of the saved.

We believe unity in the major doctrines of the faith is essential to the health of the assembly. In secondary matters, believers should extend grace to one another. Teaching that contradicts the assembly’s doctrine or causes division should not be promoted, publicly or privately.
